About Diana

At a young age, I discovered the magic of capturing moments and stories with my camera. Filmmaking captured me with its holistic nature and its ability to explore the human condition. After moving to Australia in 2014 from Colombia and doing a Film and Digital Media degree, I became an award-winning filmmaker who enjoys visual storytelling, editing, and cinematography.
Empowering human stories are my passion, and I feel a deep responsibility to give them a voice through my art. Collaborating with various organisations and individuals, I've crafted authentic pieces that touch hearts and inspire.
In late 2021, I directed my first feature documentary, Nuestras Voces "Our Voices," which won two festival awards in Toronto and LA. It premiered at Palace Films Spanish Film Festival in Australia and captivated audiences nationwide, celebrating the resilience and contirbituion of migrants.
Through the lens of empathy, I seek to connect with others and share their unique stories. As an artist my aim is to create art that serves as a channel of communication for initiatives that come from love and unity.
