About Me
Driven by a passion for storytelling, my mission is to create films that connect, inspire, and make a difference. From a young age, I discovered the magic of using a camera as a medium to explore the world around me and capture particular moments - a fascination that has grown into a career that delves deep into the human condition. After moving to Australia from Colombia in 2014 and completing a Film and Digital Media degree, I became an award-winning filmmaker, recognised for my ability to craft authentic, emotionally resonant stories.
Sharing human stories is at the heart of my work. I feel a deep sense of purpose in giving these stories a meaningful voice through my art. Whether collaborating with individuals or organisations, I strive to create impactful pieces that not only resonate with audiences but also support initiatives that drive social change and community empowerment.
In late 2021, I directed my first feature documentary, Nuestras Voces ("Our Voices"), which won two festival awards in Toronto and LA. It premiered at the Palace Films Spanish Film Festival in Australia, captivating cinema audiences nationwide and celebrating the resilience and contributions of migrants.
Through the lens of empathy, I aim to connect with others and share their unique stories, ensuring that each project I undertake serves as a channel for love, unity, and understanding. Want to connect? Let’s talk! :)
