Nuestras Voces documentary is the first of its kind in Australia. It tells the stories of Spanish-speaking migrants who arrived in Victoria between the 1960s and 1980s. Their profound impact on the social and cultural tapestry of Australia takes center stage in this moving documentary. Nuestras Voces has won 2 international awards and was part of the official selection of the 2022 Palace Cinemas Spanish Film Festival presented in all major cities in Australia with sold-out sessions. This film was Directed, filmed and edited by Diana Paez, and produced by Latin Stories Australia and was a pivotal part of the Nuestras Voces project which was funded by the Victorian Government with the aim of increasing understanding of the migrant and refugee experiences, through the eyes of the Spanish-speaking communities.
